Denise Powell
Founder, Principal
In the House since 2017
Denise has almost three decades of healthcare communications experience centered around investor relations and corporate communications. Her career spans both agency and in-house experience, numerous disease categories and a spectrum of private- to public-stage companies. She founded Red House Communications in 2014 to help emerging biotech companies shape their stories and reach the right audiences.
Her core areas of expertise are strategic and operational communications including content development and stakeholder engagement. Prior to starting Red House, at W2O Group, Denise provided Corporate Communications/IR support to dozens of public and venture-backed biotechnology companies. Prior to W2O, Denise led IR/Corporate Communications at Threshold Pharmaceuticals, a small-cap biotech company. Denise began her biotech career at Amgen, first as a Project Manager, then leading the Investor Relations department, and finally overseeing Anemia Market Research in the Commercial organization. Denise has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto, and an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business.
When not in the Red House, Denise can be found skiing, backpacking or cooking. She resides in Northern California.

Teri Dahlman
Senior Communications and IR Executive
In the House since 2022
Teri is an experienced corporate communications and investor relations professional with over 20 years in the biotech industry.
She has led extensive in-house strategic communications and investor relations programs for small-to-mid cap, publicly traded biotech companies including, most recently, for Translate Bio from the company’s pre-IPO phase through to its acquisition by Sanofi. Teri enjoys partnering with management teams to design and execute investor and corporate communications strategies that align with corporate objectives. She has a proven ability to help craft and convey the company story across external and internal audiences including investors, media, patient advocates, physicians and employees.
Prior to Translate Bio, Teri directed IR and corporate communications at Tetraphase Pharmaceuticals and Idenix Pharmaceuticals. Teri holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Stonehill College.
When not in the Red House, Teri is usually on the sidelines of one of her 3 daughters’ soccer or lacrosse games, or taking her black lab, Brooklyn, to the beach. She resides on the North Shore of Boston.

Kimberly Muscara
Senior Communications Executive
In the House since 2024
Kimberly has over two decades of public relations and integrated marketing experience—the majority spanning corporate and product communications in the biotech, medical device and diagnostics industries.
Leveraging her PR and marcom expertise she has contributed to successful company exits and regulatory milestones, national product launches, data publicity, patient education campaigns and clinical trial recruitment. She has passion for corporate positioning and thought leadership, media strategy, interview coaching, partnering with advocacy groups, and protecting company reputation—always through close collaboration with executive leadership and aligned to business objectives.
Most recently, Kimberly worked at Genentech for almost 8 years overseeing external communications teams for US marketed and pipeline medicines in the areas of neuroscience, rare disease, ophthalmology, respiratory and immunology. Before Genentech, she counseled dozens of healthcare clients from small-private to large-public companies managing communications initiatives at agencies such as Real Chemistry (f.k.a WCG and W2O), The Ruth Group and Communications Partners & Associates.
Kimberly has a bachelor of arts degree from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY and an Executive Education Certificate from Columbia University in NYC.
When not at Red House, Kimberly can be found playing tennis, hiking, yoga-ing or at the dog beach with her two chiweenies. She resides in Central California.

Kelli Perkins
Senior Communications Executive
In the House since 2017
Kelli is a marketing and communications leader with more than two decades of agency experience. She has created and executed integrated PR and marketing campaigns for both small and large brands across a wide variety of therapeutic and diagnostic areas.
She has extensive expertise in advocacy relations, video production, media and social media strategy and tactics, disease awareness programs, product launches, brand programming and web site content development. Kelli specializes in managing integrated communications and marketing initiatives. Before entering the Red House, Kelli worked at several global communications agencies: Chandler Chicco, Weber Shandwick, W2O Group and Porter Novelli. Kelli has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia.
When not in the Red House, you’ll find Kelli meditating or driving her three kids around to a myriad of sports or activities. Kelli is a certified meditation guide and currently resides in Southern California.

Lori Rosen

Lori has over 25 years of experience helping healthcare companies achieve their corporate and product communications goals.
She is a laser-focused strategic thinker with expertise in storytelling through positioning and messaging, content development and integrated programming that inspires key stakeholders to act. Never afraid to challenge the status quo, Lori is a valued and trusted advisor to her clients. She has worked across complex therapeutic areas including cardiology, hepatology, neurology, oncology, rare diseases and virology.
Prior to Red House, Lori worked at several global communications agencies: Real Chemistry (f.k.a WCG and W2O), Porter Novelli and GCI Group. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers University in New Jersey.
When not in the Red House, you’ll find Lori riding her Peloton bike, at a concert or planning her next trip. She currently resides in Southern California.

Mara Rosenthal
Communications Consultant
In the House since 2024
Mara brings over 10 years of communications experience to the Red House team, and brings a passion for helping companies tell their stories effectively.
She has worked for multiple communications agencies partnering with clients across biotech, pharmaceuticals and medical devices. Mara has held roles in project and account management, and brand strategy where she contributed to the launch of successful creative campaigns, drove patient advocacy, and built brand awareness.
Mara earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, with a focus on Advertising, from the University of Colorado Boulder.
When not in the Red House, Mara can be found traveling anywhere and everywhere, especially when scuba diving is involved, or hanging out at home with her Bernedoodle, Atticus.
